For those who may prefer to read a hard copy, we do have two of the re-printed, pocket size books on Shelf S1B (See SHS N229) and three original copies in Chest2. One of the the latter is a copy formerly belonging to the Rev H. Maclean of Deerhurst Vicarage, Gloucester. Another copy was donated to SHS by the Defence Academy Library (Formerly the RMCS Library) and the third originally owned by Colonel F.M. Hill CBE,  who was related to Rev Edward Hill the Author.

Rev Hill, Edward Hill, Canon Hill

This photo in this listing and a scrap of paper was donated by the late Mervyn Penny. It's likely that the lady mentioned on the paper, Mary Ridens, thought highly of the Rev Edward Hill who was Vicar of Shrivenham from 1890 to 1932. He was a popular cleric and worked tirelessly for the good of the Parish of Shrivenham.
