Prisoners of War at Watchfield

We are grateful to the Cranfield University Library at the Military College at Shrivenham for copies of the only known photographs of the Prisoner of War Camp within the precincts of the college grounds during the war of 1939-45. The location of the tents that can be seen in the photos was along side the road that runs from Watchfield to Longcott where the military houses of Bower Green now stand.
