This document was purchased from Ebay by Neil Maw in April 2022. It's an original copy produced by the proceedings of the Court Baron of the Manor of Shrivenham Salop on 26th April 1782. It concerns a cottage that was located in the eastern end of Longcott that was occupied by the then late John Roby who held it by Copyhold from the Manor. This document is the legal instrument that passed the occupancy to his surviving wife Elizabeth for the remainder of her widowhood. To read more detail please go HERE
