1. Titanic. Tragic death of Benjamin and Ellen Howard from Swindon who were emigrating to the USA on Titanic's maiden voyage in April 1912, to be with their two sons. Ellen's last letter to them is reproduced. Their great-great-grand children have made connection with their Swindon roots.
