Shrivenham Primary School Log Books

Log Book 1. This is the original first logbook that starts when the school building was completed and opened in September 1863. It goes through to November 1897. The book is in frail condition and should be handled with care.

Log Book 2. This school Log Book covers the period from November 1897 through to December 1959. The book is frail and should be handled with care.

Log Book 3.  This Book covers the period Jan 1960 through to July 1975. There is a particularly interesting report on page 42 concerning the huge increase in the number of pupils brought about by movement of nearby military personell and the problems caused by the widely dispersed school buildings. It is in good condition but should still be handled with care.
