Iron nails are particulalrly difficult to date as they have been used in their simple format from the Roman period to the present. But this small collection of artefacts, Nail, Spike tip, large Key and bronze button, all came from the yard area of Coplow Barn. This structure is dated to the mid 16th century (please see Listing N206 for more details).
