Judi Stretton, Longcot wildlife expert

Judi Stretton, wildlife enthusiast lived in Longcot. She became warden of Tuckmill a BBOWT nature reserve and was the instigator of a project to transform Longcot churchyard into a wildlife haven.

We are grateful to have received a collection of photographic slides of Tuckmill Nature Reserve from 1986 to 2002. These were taken by Judi to record the progress of the conservation of the Reserve. They have all been digitised and are avaailable to view on the SHS Digital Vault. Please email us for access to them. The originals are now stored in the Heritage Centre attic space.
