This Listing contains seveal indentures, but has two principle documents dated in 1862 and 1894. It concerns the sale of land that was previously owned by Henry Tucker, bought by Noah Keevil for £5,359 in 1894. This answers the question posed in Listing No N1325 as to who purchased the land after William Coster. It also provides the information of when Lower Field Farm was placed firmly on the north side of the main A420 highway with it's own farmhouse that was built in 1911.
After the death of Noah Keevil on the 26th May 1896, the deed of enfranchisement would suggest that he left the farm to Samuel Carter Keevil and James Viney Keevil, who were his sons, the lands becoming Freehold from previous Copyhold.
There are more indentures in this file that give much detail of mortgages taken out, transferred etc, and the infranchisement deed for the subsequent owners. To read a precis of the contents of the two principle Indentures and see photos of other documents in PDF format please go HERE
