Shrivenham Dress Making Class of 1913

We are grateful to the late Merv Penny for this photograph and list of names, and to his daughter Therese for donating it to the society. It's an important snapshot of a group of young women over a century ago, learning the very useful art of needlework and sewing. Such skills were relied upon at that period for clothing needs.
