A Family Patchwork Quilt - a book & extract

This is a delightful book written by Doris Braidwood Allen circa 1950. It's a self-publication and is a biography of both sides of her family. It is well written and is most amusing in places as she describes some of the characters along the way. Extracted and shown seperate in this listing is the mention of Miss Choyce, of Tuckmill Cottage at Watchfield, and her association with Beatrix Potter.
