These school registers have been placed in the Shrivenham Heritage Society archive and are considered in archival terms as 'Sensitive information.' Therefore, the 100 year rule applies and entries made after 1923 are considered closed.
The original document is fragile and has been scanned. In 1998 the register was transcribed by Johanna Siekiewicz.
In 1874 the Schoolmaster was Mr Mitchell. The first of 100 names in the register was Mary Jane Brittain who had come from the 'dames school' in Fernham.
